The principle of clean room air purification treatment is mainly to remove particles, microorganisms, harmful gases and other pollutants in the air by physical, chemical or biological methods, so that indoor air quality meets the predetermined standards. According to the different treatment principles, air purification technology can be divided into filtration technology, adsorption technology, electrostatic dust removal technology, ozone disinfection technology. Filtration technology is one of the most commonly used technologies in clean room air purification treatment. Through its internal fiber layer, the high efficiency filter effectively intercepts the particles in the air and realizes the initial purification of the air.
Clean room air purification is mainly divided into three stages:
In the first stage, the temperature and humidity are controlled by the air conditioner, and the fresh air entering the room is pretreated by the filter installed in the air conditioner to intercept common large particles in the air. The equipment in this link is located outside the clean room physical isolation layer wall panel, and the pre-treated air will enter the inside of the clean room wall panel. The technical requirements of the filter are below the intermediate level, air conditioning products equipped with filters is also a common function of air conditioning products, the use of general standard air treatment technology, the use of scenarios are universal, not specially developed functions for clean rooms;
In the second stage, the fan filtration unit is located in the clean room, distributed at the top of the physical isolation layer inside the clean room, and its core function is to further treat other fine particles, gaseous molecular pollutants, and microorganisms that cannot be treated in the air after the first stage of pretreatment, so as to achieve the extremely high air purification level requirements such as semiconductor and bio-pharmaceutical production workshops. The filtration technology used in this link has high requirements, and it is necessary to design and produce specific filtration materials and scientific air flow guidance design according to the composition of specific chemical gases released and the requirements of cleanliness. At the same time, the selection, processing and airflow guidance design of filter materials should ensure that the purification equipment itself will not release other fine particles and gaseous molecular pollutants during use, causing secondary pollution in the clean room;
In the third stage, the air circulation in the clean room is purified, and the return air is sent to the fan filter unit (including high efficiency/ultra-high efficiency filter, chemical filter, etc.) through the elevated floor and the return air tunnel, and then sent to the clean room for re-filtration. The overall purification process is active, forced and continuous circulation, so as to achieve the purpose of maintaining the high degree of cleanliness of the clean room air.
