The construction technology of a clean room is high, and there are many professional occupations. A clean room is a systematic project that can be completed through close cooperation between multiple professions and occupations. Any problem in any link may affect the construction quality of the clean room. Therefore, this article focuses on the clean room standards for pharmaceutical construction procedures of a clean room.

Each team (such as the air duct team, water pipe team, electrical team, self-control team, etc.) installs the supports and hangers of each profession according to the construction drawings. When installing supports and hangers, each profession and type of work should consult with their respective team leaders or technical personnel during the construction process, and finally be coordinated and planned by the project manager. If there is a pipeline collision and crossing, reasonable planning should be jointly negotiated with the design personnel. The usual avoidance principle is that small pipes give way to large pipes, and pressure gives way to no pressure. 

02 Installation of air ducts and fire pipes

After the installation of pipeline supports and hangers is completed, they should be installed orderly according to the construction organization design, by profession, period, and area. Duct installation: The duct system of a clean room is different from that of a regular ventilation and air conditioning project. Its duct system is more complex and often has hidden engineering characteristics in the interlayer. Moreover, the duct system is the core of the clean room purification system, so generally, the construction and installation of the duct system will be carried out first in clean room projects. Usually, the main pipelines for air supply, return air, exhaust air, fire smoke exhaust, and fire air supply are installed first, and the branch pipelines are usually installed after the decoration reaches a certain level.

03 Installation of cable trays, water pipes, and air pipes 

Only when the construction space is very tight, will separate operations be carried out. When separating operations, cable trays, piping connections, wiring and protection are usually installed first, and then other pipelines are installed. It should be noted that during the installation and construction of this part, only the part on the ceiling is usually installed, and the branch pipes and pipelines in the clean area are usually installed alternately in the later stage of decoration. 

04 Installation of customized wall panels

After the above installation work is completed, customized wall panel installation can be carried out. In the installation of customized wall panels, construction is usually carried out based on laying out. In practical engineering, wall panels are typically installed first, and then the top panel is installed. Of course, there are also projects where the top plate is installed first and then the wall plate is installed, but it is not very advocated because installing the top plate first and then the wall plate will increase the construction difficulty and cause significant impact due to small material errors (such as the inability to install slot aluminum). After the installation of customized wall panels, indoor fire hydrant piping and installation, soft water pipelines, injection water pipelines, compressed air, and lighting wiring can be carried out.

05 Installation of arc angles and door and window frame profiles 

Install equipment such as curved corners, doors and windows, frames, return air vents, and water tanks. Slowly entering the final stage of construction.

06 Pipeline pressure testing, installation of efficient air supply outlets, and insulation of air ducts

After the decoration project is completed, the pipeline system can be pressure tested, including air leakage detection of air ducts and water pressure testing of water pipelines. After all the work is completed, efficient air supply outlets can be installed, end pipe connections can be made, and air duct insulation can be carried out. 

07 Installation of purification lamps, fire indicator lights, switch sockets, and wiring

After completing the above tasks, the wiring installation for purifying flat panel lights, emergency lighting fixtures, and switch sockets can be carried out.

08 Ground paving and painting 

Polish and clean the floor, apply primer, intermediate coat, surface coat, or lay PVC anti-static flooring. 

09 Install high-efficiency filter 

After the ground construction is completed, the purification air conditioning system can be air-blown. Generally, it will be air blown for 12 hours, and then the clean room surface will be wiped and high-efficiency filters and diffusion plates will be installed. After installation, do the final cleaning treatment.
