Cosmetic Production Clean Workshop Design Requirements

According to Cosmetics production quality management standards, the design and construction of the production workshop should be carried out in strict accordance with the process flow and environmental control requirements, and the division of different functional areas should not be changed without authorization. In the production workshop, there shall be no pollution sources, and the movement routes of materials, products and personnel shall be reasonable to avoid pollution and cross-pollution.

  • Workshop design requirements

1. In principle, it should be set up: raw material room, production room, filling room, packaging room, container cleaning and disinfection drying room, storage room, finished product warehouse, testing room, dressing room, buffer zone, etc.

2. The total number of bacteria in the air of the production workshop shall not exceed 1000 / cubic meters, while the semi-finished product storage room, filling room, clean container storage room, locker room and its buffer zone must have air purification or air disinfection facilities.

3. The total area of the production, filling and packaging room shall not be less than 100 square meters, the per capita area shall not be less than 4 square meters, and the net height of the workshop shall not be less than 2.5 meters.

4. The ground should be smooth, wear-resistant, non-slip, non-toxic, non-permeable, easy to clean and disinfect, the need to clean the working area ground should have a slope, no water.

  • Technical parameter requirements

1. Number of air changes:

Class 1000 cleanroom: 50-52 times /h.

Class 10000 cleanroom: 15-25 times /h.

Class 100,000 cleanroom: 10-15 times /h.

Wind speed of 100 level operation table section 0.25-0.35m/s.

2. Pressure difference: main workshop and adjacent room ≥5Pa.

3. Temperature: winter > 16℃±2℃, summer < 26℃±2℃.

4.Relative humidity: 45-65%.

5. Noise: ≤65dB (A).

6. Fresh air supplement: 20%-30% of the total air supply.

7. Illumination: ≥300Lux.

  • Air flow pattern:

Air flow → primary air treatment → medium air treatment → surface cooling → fan air supply → purification pipeline → efficient air supply outlet → Clean room → Dust (bacteria) removal → return air alley → fresh air and primary air treatment. Repeat the above process to achieve the purpose of purification.
