1. Basic Principles

The wet mixing granulator can complete the mixing, slurrying, granulating and other processes at one time, using the strong stirring action of the stirring paddle to make the material present a three-dimensional movement trajectory in the axial, radial and tangential directions in the container, thereby A well-mixed powder is obtained. Add a binder or a wetting agent to the powder to form a suitable soft material in the container, which is chopped by a cutting knife to obtain particles of suitable size. The particles made by wet method have better surface modification, beautiful appearance and wear resistance. It has the advantages of strong performance and good compression molding.

2. Basic structure

Solid preparation workshop wet mixing granulator is composed of pot body, stirring paddle, chopping knife, etc. The upper end of the pot body is installed with an openable silo cover, which can be provided with a feeding port, a slurry feeding port, a respirator, a cleaning port and an observation window. On the side wall of the body, the stirring paddle and the chopping knife are equipped with a driving mechanism, the bottom end of the pot body is provided with a discharge port, and the granulator is usually equipped with an escalator platform.

3. Working process

When working, firstly add the raw materials and auxiliary materials into the material tank through vacuum feeding, lifting feeding, manual feeding and other feeding methods; start the stirring paddle, set a low speed for mixing operation, generally 2~3min, after mixing evenly, press The set high-speed stirring is used for mixing, and then the prepared binder is added into the material tank through the slurry feeding system; while the slurry is added, the granulating knife starts granulation at a low speed. After 2~3 minutes, the binder is added and the high speed is turned on. Stirring, high-speed granulation, and determining the end point by current, time or torque; generally, the wet granulation time only takes 8 to 10 minutes, and the obtained granules generally contain large agglomerates, so tablets and capsules need to pass through In-situ wet granulation is carried out to disperse the granules, so that the obtained granules are more uniform.

4. The influence of equipment adjustable process parameters

(1) Addition of binder

There are generally two ways to add the binder: one is in the shutdown state, open the cover of the granulator, and pour the binder directly. The local concentration is high, the particles are not uniform, and the disintegration or dissolution of the prepared tablets is quite different; the other is the non-stop state. This method can avoid the local unevenness of the binder and make the particles more uniform, but due to factors such as the requirements for the type of binder, equipment design or operating habits, the use of the second slurry addition method in production is limited.

(2) Stirring speed and chopping speed

For some varieties, if the running time is the same, moderate soft materials can be obtained by increasing the stirring speed and chopping speed, so as to avoid the over-tightening of the soft materials caused by long-time stirring.

(3) stirring and chopping time

Under normal circumstances, if the stirring and chopping time is too short, the density, hardness and uniformity of the particles will be reduced, and there will be cracks and unqualified uniformity during tableting; if the stirring and chopping time is too long, it will cause The density and hardness of the granules increase, and there may be problems such as soft material failure, long tablet disintegration time, and unqualified dissolution during tableting.

5. Features

6. Operation precautions, maintenance points

(1) Precautions for operation

①Equipment shell should have reliable grounding wire. ②The equipment can only be added to the pot after the equipment is running normally for half a minute. ③ The amount of feed is determined according to the production situation, and the principle is to avoid boring cars. ④ Stop feeding for 3 minutes before stopping. ⑤ There is excess material left in the pot, which must be cleaned up before driving for reproduction. ⑥ The inverter shall not be changed at will. ⑦ The safety performance of the electrical system shall comply with the corresponding national standards. ⑧ All lines are installed in a closed manner, and the equipment has a ground wire and a neutral wire. ⑨ The equipment ensures that no electrostatic accumulation occurs during the process. ⑩ Equipped with overload protection and leakage tripping device.
