A return air louver is a type of air distributor. It plays an integral role in the clean room hvac system.
Common air louver are: single-layer, double-layer, side-wall and slit grate type. Single-layer louvers are often used for return air openings, sometimes with aluminum mesh filters or nylon filters. The double-layer air louver consists of a double-layer blade, the front layer of the blade is adjustable, the rear layer of the blade is fixed, according to the need to configure the open-type multi-blade air regulating valve, used to adjust the tuyere air volume.
What you see here is a single-layer air louver. It is usually used at the return air outlet and is sometimes used with aluminum alloy mesh filters or nylon filters. It helps to redirect indoor air back to the air conditioning system for circular ventilation.
