The established laboratory should be a safe and economical laboratory; the temperature is 18-27 °C; the relative humidity is 30%-70%; noise ≤ 60dB (A); The minimum illumination is 300Ix; the builder can appropriately increase the corresponding indicators according to actual needs, such as cleanliness, pressure difference, etc. At present, most of the secondary biosafety laboratories are rebuilt in the original buildings. Unlike the newly built secondary biosafety laboratories, a relatively isolated space should be set up between other adjacent rooms; The secondary biosafety laboratory should be equipped with a door that can be automatically closed with a lock, and a buffer area, such as a buffer room, should be set up if necessary. The door of the main entrance of the laboratory should have access control measures; if there is no mechanical ventilation system, there should be windows. Provide natural ventilation and have insect-proof screen windows. Generally, there should be a mechanical ventilation system, otherwise the temperature and humidity indicators will be difficult to guarantee; there should be measures to prevent insects, rats and other animals from entering and escaping.

If there are special requirements, additional design requirements can be added, such as adding purification requirements and designing the return and exhaust system according to the purification requirements; For the air-conditioning system with circulating air, if designing chemical solvents and animal experiments, a full exhaust system should be used; the location of various equipment in the laboratory should be conducive to the flow of air from the clean space to the polluted space, and minimize indoor backflow and leakage. , The biological safety cabinet should generally be placed at the most downstream of the indoor airflow, away from the air supply outlet; the biological safety cabinet is connected to the exhaust system, the proportion of Class I exhaust air is 100%, the airtight connection, the proportion of Class II A type exhaust air is 30%, and it can be exhausted. To the room or set up a local exhaust hood, the proportion of B1 type exhaust air is 70%, airtight connection, and the B2 type exhaust air proportion is 100%, airtight connection. A special power distribution box should be set up to ensure a reliable power supply. When necessary, important equipment such as incubators, biological safety cabinets, refrigerators, etc. should be equipped with backup power supplies; the power supply should be equipped with leakage detection devices; Text light signal display; there should be a reliable grounding system, and its grounding resistance should not be greater than 1 ohm; emergency luminous evacuation signs should be set up.
