Modular Clean Room with Side-mounted Fan Filter Unit
Modular clean room is a modern way to build a clean environment. It adopts prefabricated modular structural parts for assembly and construction on site. It has the advantages of fast installation, flexible layout, high efficiency and energy saving, and easy to upgrade and transform.

FFU is a fan filter unit, which is a common air purification equipment in clean rooms. Side-mounted FFU means that when the equipment is installed, the fan and high efficiency filter are installed in a way that faces the clean room on the side. The working principle of the side-mounted FFU is mainly to inhale indoor air through the built-in high-efficiency centrifugal fan, and filter it through the HEPA or ULPA filter, so as to purify the air and remove dust particles, and ensure that the air quality in the clean room meets the corresponding cleanliness level requirements.
The advantages of side-mounted FFU include:
Flexible installation: Due to air inlet and outlet from the side, it has advantages in situations where the height is limited or hidden installation is required, and can be easily combined with the suspended ceiling or siding of the clean room.
Easy maintenance: When the filter needs to be replaced or cleaned, there is no need to disassemble the entire FFU, and only need to open the side maintenance door to operate, greatly reducing the maintenance cost and difficulty.
High space utilization efficiency: the side installation mode makes FFU occupy less space in the clean room, which is conducive to optimizing the space layout design of the clean room. Large area uniform air supply can be achieved to ensure the stability of air flow organization in the clean room.
