With the continuous progress of the clean room project in Thailand this week, the installation and wiring work of the industrial air conditioning control box has begun. The local Thai staff on site are not very familiar with the electrical system design of the air conditioning equipment. Our company's after-sales department has answered various installation questions raised by customers one by one.
For example, how to connect cables, what are the cable models and specifications, where to place the electrical control box, and how to complete the correct electrical control box wiring through design and wiring drawings.
1. Precautions before wiring
Before wiring the contactor wires of the air conditioning electrical box control box, the following points should be noted:
- Connect the wires according to the circuit schematic and ensure that the lines are correctly connected.
- Copper core wires should be used for wiring, and the cross-sectional area of the wires must meet the rated current requirements.
- Choose the appropriate terminal for wiring and do not use any wire head for wiring.
Before wiring, remember to cut off the power supply to avoid electric shock accidents.
2. Wiring steps
- Open the air conditioning electrical control box and locate the contactor position that needs to be wired. According to the circuit schematic, find the position of the circuit that needs to be connected to the contactor.
- Use a multimeter to check if there is voltage on the circuit, and confirm that the circuit is in a neutral state before proceeding to the next step.
- Connect the wires correctly according to the labels on the circuit schematic. In general, the line labels are NO, NC, and COM, which are normally open, normally closed, and common terminal, respectively.
- Use wire clamps to connect the wires to the terminals. Wire crimping pliers are one of the essential tools for professional electricians, making them more convenient and efficient to use.
- The short head of the pliers is used to press the normally open and normally closed thread ends, while the long head of the pliers is used to press the universal end. During the pressing process, it is necessary to check at all times to ensure that it is secure.
- Confirm that all wiring has been completed and check if the circuit meets the requirements of the schematic diagram. After the wiring is completed, the circuit should be checked again to ensure that it is live and that subsequent work can proceed normally.
The wiring method of the contactor wires in the control box of the electrical box needs to be strictly operated according to the circuit principle to ensure that the lines are connected correctly and the wire cross-sectional area meets the requirements. Before wiring, be sure to cut off the power and use compatible terminals for wiring. After the wiring is completed, it is necessary to check whether the circuit meets the requirements and confirm that the circuit is in a non energized state.
