What is a clean workbench?

The working principle of a clean workbench is to suck in air through a fan, filter it through a high efficiency filter through a static pressure box. The filtered clean air is discharged in a vertical or horizontal airflow state to continuously achieve a cleanliness level of 100 in the operating area under the control of clean air, creating a sterile and highly clean working environment.

Horizontal laminar flow clean workbench:

Horizontal laminar flow: It refers to the horizontal state of the incoming and outgoing airflow. In horizontal laminar flow type air purification equipment, because the airflow does not need to change direction, the airflow movement is closer to the ideal laminar flow state, the airflow runs smoother and smoother, and it is not easy to form turbulence and airflow dead corners in the working area. Therefore, it has better performance than similar vertical laminar flow type equipment.

Vertical laminar flow clean workbench:

Vertical laminar flow: It refers to the vertical state of the incoming and outgoing airflow. In vertical laminar flow purification equipment, it is inevitable to form airflow dead corners at the corners of the cabinet. When the airflow is too large, rebound airflow will be generated due to the inertial impact of the airflow, which will further form local turbulence, all of which will destroy the laminar flow characteristics of the airflow. Therefore, vertical laminar flow is usually used in situations where cleanliness requirements are not strict (positive pressure equipment) or where the amount of pollutants is small (negative pressure equipment). However, by optimizing the airflow design, such as actively adding auxiliary airflow to eliminate the main airflow blind spots, the performance of the equipment can be greatly improved.
